작성자 민윤기라고 슈가 본명임. 2010년 5월 22일 이 글을 올림. 연습생으로 들어가기전 슈가는 언더에서 활동했는데 예명이 Gloss 였음. 자기가 직접 작사작곡한 곡을 판에 올림.
The writer is Min Yoongi, which is Suga’s real name. He posted this on May 22nd, 2010. It was when Suga promoted underground under the stage name Gloss, before he entered (BigHit) as a trainee. He personally wrote and composed his own song and then posted it on Pann.

저 영상은 슈가가 5.18일 일어났던 광주 민주화 운동 사진들을 모아 자기 자작곡 영상으로 만듬. 참고로 5.18 민주화 운동은 1980년 5월 18일부터 27일까지 전남및 광주 시민들이 계엄령 철폐와 전두환퇴진 등을 요구하며 벌인 민주화 운동임.
That video that Suga himself created is about the 5.18 day, when people rose up during the Gwangju Pro-Democracy Movement. He collected the photos and composed the song himself for the video. For reference, 5.18 is from the May 1980 Pro-Democracy Movement, which lasted from the 18th until the 27th. Jeonnam as well as Gwangju citizens demanded and fought for the abolishment of martial law, for Jeon Doo-hwan’s resignation, etc during the Pro-Democracy Movement.

슈가는 랩실력이 좀 알려졌으면 좋겠다… 랩몬에 가려져서 빛을 못보는거같아 아쉽ㅠ 실력외에도 슈가는 생각이 깊고 항상 말하기 전에 진중하게 고민한뒤에 말하는게 있어서 행동과 말 하나하나가 멋짐. 의리도 있고 멤버들 잘 챙겨주고 심지어 작사작곡잘함. 슈가가 만든 Tomorrow라는 곡에서 “해가 뜨기 전 새벽이 가장 어두우니까, 먼 훗날에 넌 지금의 널 절대로 잊지 마"라는 가사 정말 좋음. 포기하지말라는 내용의 가사인데 해가 뜨기전 새벽이 가장 어둡다는게 뭔가 성공과 실패/절망은 한걸음 차이라는 뜻같아서 쓰는 가사마다 의미를 두고 쓰는듯. 그리고 달달한 가사도 잘씀: Miss Right라는 곡에서 “우리 커플 신발 사이에 어린이 운동화"라고 쓴게 있는데 흔한 사랑가사가 아닌데도 로맨틱함ㅠ
I hope Suga becomes a little more known for his rap skills… I think it’s a shame that Rapmon has the spotlight and we can’t see Suga as muchㅠ In addition to his skills, Suga always thinks deeply before speaking, and each and every one of his actions and words is cool. He also has a sense of loyalty and takes care of his members well. He even writes lyrics and composes songs well too. Suga made “Tomorrow” and in the song the lyrics “The dawn before the sun rises is the darkest, so even in the distant future, never forget the you of right now” are seriously good. Seems like he’s saying that you shouldn’t give up, even if it’s the darkest before the sun rises. His writing seemed to leave a meaning in the lyrics that the difference between success and failure/despair is one step. And he writes sweet lyrics well too: In the song “Miss Right,” he wrote, “In between our couple shoes are children’s shoes.” Those aren’t common love lyrics; they’re romanticㅠ
